Overview: A circle has no beginning and no end. Wheels burn on a road leading nowhere. The serpent consumes itself. The drive within that seeks meaning in destruction and cause for resurrection. A name from a dream and a promise: Keep Falling And I'll Find You. In Through the shadows to paradise we enter a study of cycles, repetition and drive using found and archival footage. This work synthesizes movement with a cinematic sound inspired by old Hollywood occult and the strange under belly of Americana, a liminal space where queerness lives. Through the darkness emerges an ephemeral beauty, as Kier Griffiths and Tyler Alexander-founders of HOMO- shape the visuals, with a live experimental score by Jared St. James.
